10 Bombs Recovered in Metro Vihar Chowki
Delhi Police recover ten country-made grenades at Metro Vihar Chowki, Delhi Police has arrested one person in connection with the recovery of 10 bombs from Metro Vihar outpost in North Delhi’s Narela industrial area.
According to the police, the arrested person has been identified as Dileep, who had hidden the grenades near a sewer. Ravi Kumar Singh, DCP (North Delhi) on Tuesday said that a police team has reached to nab one of his associates,
Kashiram whose location is in Madhya Pradesh. Further investigation is underway,” Ravi Kumar Singh, DCP North, Delhi informed.
The police seized a total of seven hand grenades. Sensing the gravity of the matter, a bomb disposal squad was also pressed into service and extra police force was deployed in the area to avoid any untoward incident,” the source added.

Earlier in November, the Delhi Police said that an email was received on the official email ID of Indian Public School, Sadiq Nagar, BRT road under the jurisdiction of Defence Colony police station that a bomb is on the premises of the school.
The school authorities immediately informed the local police. Soon after, Delhi Police personnel, the bomb disposal squad and the dog squad rushed to the spot. The school was evacuated and a thorough search was done but no bomb was found.
